A respect for vintage textiles lead me to repurposing those treasures into projects useful and fun in today's world.

A few years ago I started visiting antique shops and flea markets with friends. I naturally gravitated toward the textiles. What treasures I found!

Some of my finds hang on my walls as I found them. Some of my finds I repurposed into pillow covers and tote bags.

Soon my finds were out numbering my needs! A friend with a booth in an antique shop offered to consign some of my projects. And I had several sales!

I started looking for other outlets and heard about Etsy. I investigated and decided to go for it.

The hunt for textiles to incorporate into projects is just as much fun for me as the repurposing! Obviously, no two items I construct are the same. The discovered textiles speak to the purpose and style of the items I create.

From Shabby and Chic to Industrial to Modern to Country Farmhouse to Retro.....many different styles I can fit my items into.

The burlap tree skirts in my Etsy shop are there as a result of custom requests I started receiving during the holiday season of 2011. Each one is a very special project....one I know the recipient will treasure for many years to come.

I am grateful to Etsy for providing the avenue to offer my handmade items. I find it very comforting to know I am not alone in my crafting addiction! The creativity found in the Etsy shops is amazing.
